731. Pershing. Mazuma. A brass placard for Geo. H. Jones, Professor of Music. The sign has mounting holes at each corner. Brass is in excellent condition with some pitting. 12 x 14". Sign is very slightly bent (generally not noticeable). This was probably on a building that was destroyed by the big flood in July, 1912. The flood was so strong that it washed a bank vault 2 miles below town in Mazuma. Est. $300-500

732. Pershing. Mazuma. Cigar case. Embossed aluminum cigar case. Compliments/Holland, Lynes/ & Morrison/Mazuma, Nev./1909. in raised printing. Case is in rough shape, but the printing is unaffected. Front shows a raised, gilt image of a Thompson Touring Car with the caption "You Auto See the Seven Troughs Mining District". This is similar to the Thompson automobile that toured the west, made famous in a Goldfield photograph. Half inch tear at bottom edge into card. Much smaller tears along bottom edge. Very fine.
